Working as part of a strategic task force assembled by former ASHRAE New Hampshire President, Paul Bemis, to advocate for updated energy building code in New Hampshire.

My contributions include:

• Supported energy modeling work based on 2018 vs 2024 IECC building energy codes

• Developing place-based financial model to prove lower cost of ownership for a more energy-efficient multi-family building in New Hampshire

• Crafting effective messaging and imagery to sway the NH Building Code Review Board to recommend updates

• Drafting policy memos to the NH state legislature to lobby for adoption of 2024 IECC based on findings
