Worked with a strategic task force assembled by former ASHRAE New Hampshire President Paul Bemis to advocate for updated energy building code in New Hampshire.
ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) sets the technical standards that underpin building energy codes across the United States. Through the New Hampshire chapter, I pushed for state-wide adoption of the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code.

- →Developed New Hampshire-specific energy & financial models comparing 2018 versus 2024 IECC building energy codes.
- →Co-wrote a report to the state legislature supporting 2024 IECC adoption.
- →The team's work reached the NH House floor (HB 1180), where Paul distributed the memo and made the case for updated building energy codes.
