Rockefeller Leadership Fellows (RLF) is the capstone public policy leadership program for Dartmouth juniors and seniors.
Our team's research question: How might we mobilize private investment to make alternative and renewable energy industries more economically viable compared to incumbent industries such as oil?
Team members Sara McKenna '25, Megan Hagge '25, Sophia Hall '26, and I traveled to Washington, DC during winter break 2024 to engage directly with policymakers and energy experts.

- →Met in Washington, D.C. with Legislative Assistants from Senator Peter Welch's and Senator Jeanne Shaheen's offices, Joe Hezir of the Energy Futures Initiative, and Arthur Haubenstock of the U.S. Department of Energy.
- →Wrote an op-ed on mechanisms to drive private investment in renewables based on our learnings and synthesis, leveraging each of our academic disciplines to deliver a pragmatic, impactful, and infromed message.
