Engineering Capstone Project

Designed and delivered a fire-safe e-bike battery charging locker and infrastructure recommendation to the City of Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Working with teammates Grace Connolly '25, Gannon Forsberg '25, and Avery Moorhead '25, I completed Thayer's senior capstone requirement with a project focused on e-bike charging infrastructure.

We submitted a technical report to the City of Lebanon recommending design and implementation strategies for a public e-bike charging station. Our hardware innovation — a fire-safe charging locker with thermal sensing — was designed to cut power at the first signs of battery fire.
