For my final project in Mechatronics, I teamed up with Noah Dunleavy '25, Raif Olson '24, and Wells Willet '24 to build a "Ski Jumper" robot. Designed to launch from a pre-existing ramp, we set out to do flips using closed-loop position control.
Through a combination of thorough design analysis, robust mechanical design, strategic system modeling & characterization, we built a reliable product in the matter of weeks.
